Where to start? Our original plan was to try the quite popular Spicy Lemon restaurant. When we got there, the signage wasn’t lit up . We asked around the area and unfortunately they were not doing business anymore. Since we’re already there, we decided to look for other food options (we were kinda hungry at this point) and we bumped into this place — The Pork Chop Factory. The restaurant has a cute pig logo. It made us want to enter the restaurant. It is located at Rosario Commercial Complex (beside BDO), San Pedro, Laguna.
When we eat at a restaurant for the first time, we always ask for their specialties. I ordered their House Specialty, Grilled Pork Chop, while my fiancee got the Sizzling Buttered Pork Chop.
This is the Sizzling Buttered Pork Chop. The chop was tender, the herb-infused gravy is refreshing. The only thing I can comment on is that the serving size is a bit on the small side. I would have wanted more veggies!
This is my Grilled Pork Chop. It’s okay, but I preferred my fiancee’s dish more.
If you’re hungry and wanted food served ASAP, then you won’t be disappointed with The Pork Chop Factory’s quick service. This is nice, however, we wondered a bit if whether the service was too fast (less than 10 minutes from the time we ordered), that the rice is not that hot anymore and the veggies were a bit cold as well. Well, what I like the most is the Moringa Juice. It’s a calamansi juice with a twist of malunggay.
The food was served quick and our stomachs were filled very nicely. However, the price range (starting 120.00+) is greater than what we expected.
